Foundation of Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH, Regensburg, as a member of the RWE Group Preparations for the serial manufacture of oil distribution transformers

New buildings for transformers production, today the transformer repair division.

Delivery of the 5,000th transformer

Delivery of the 10,000th transformer

1961

Beginning of the construction of the new transformer factory, expansion of the production range (power transformers up to 63 MVA)

Completion of the 20,000th transformer

Renewed extension of the entire transformer production premises

Beginning of the manufacture of cast resin transformers

Establishment of a joint venture company AM SGB in Malaysia on July 8th, 1994

Manufacture of the first arc suppression coil in Neumark

Completion of the new test building for power transformers (18.124 m³ walled-in space) in Regensburg
Extension of the Neumark plant for the manufacture of compact stations

Capacities up to 120 MVA and service voltages up to 240 kV in Regensburg

RWE sells the transformer group for portfolio reasons to HCP Capital Group GmbH

Acquisition of Inverbeg B.V., Nijmegen, as a100 % share holder of SMIT B.V., Nijmegen, by Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH, Regensburg

Completion of a 700 m² final assembly shop for power transformers in Regensburg
Completion of a completely new final assembly hall in Nijmegen
